(REXBURG, ID) – Hundreds of runners from around the region participated in Saturday’s Teton Dam Marathon in Rexburg. Participants faced strong headwinds, light showers, and abnormally cold temperatures for June. Silver medalist Collin Andrus tells Local News 8 that he finished the 26.2-mile route in just over three hours and 19 minutes, nearly 25 minutes faster than his goal. Lynette Kunz, who won in the women’s division, says the cooler weather helped her more easily adjust to the demanding race.
