Tastes Like Chicken? More Like ChocoChicken
(LOS ANGELES) -- Get ready, America, a ChocoChicken restaurant is probably heading your way.
Just as the name implies, ChocoChicken, which just opened in L.A., specializes in poultry that’s cooked and coated with a special sauce made from bittersweet cocoa, according to USA TODAY.
Co-founder Adam Fleischman claims “It tastes amazing.” And if diners want more of a good thing, they can pour Chocolate Ketchup on their chicken as well as on their White Chocolate Mashed Potatoes and Duck Fat Fries.
Fleischman, who has two other partners at ChocoChicken, won’t reveal the secret ingredients but says that chocolate is included in every facet of preparing the meals there.
The plan is to expand quickly with another ChocoChicken opening in L.A. this year and half-a-dozen more in other metro areas, including New York City by 2015.
