Victor Hopes LGBT Law Boosts Tourism

non discrimination ordinance

(VICTOR, ID) – Officials in the town of Victor hope their new non-discrimination will attract more tourists.  Councilman Jeff Potter tells Local News 8 that it will help visitors feel more comfortable and welcome. The law prohibits businesses from discriminating against people because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. As one of eastern Idaho’s most left-leaning towns, authorities say the law codifies views that most of the community already agrees with.
