Wounded Warrior Coming Home
(POCATELLO, ID) – A Pocatello soldier who lost both legs in Afghanistan is coming home later this month. Army Sgt. Matt Krumwiede, 22, has spent the past two years recovering at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Idaho State Journal reports that Krumwiede, who graduated from Century High School in 2010, will spend just over a week in the Gate City. Krumwiede has been walking with prosthetics for the past year, and may be coming back for the long term once renovations on his Pocatello home are completed.
