Wyoming Rivers Dropping Below Flood Stage


(JACKSON, WY) – High water levels in Wyoming’s largest rivers are finally starting to recede. State water officials say only the North Platte and Laramie rivers in the eastern half of the state remain above flood levels. Heavy snow runoff continues to be a problem for smaller rivers and streams, but no major flood damage has been reported so far.
