Anheuser-Busch Showcases “Smart Barley” Technology
Published at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Anheuser-Busch unveiled their new “Smart Barley” technology in Idaho Falls on Friday. KIDK reports that the company wants to help eastern Idaho farmers cut costs and save water. The new system measures humidity, moisture, soil health, and other data, which can then be compared to information collected from other barley farms around the world. Officials say it will keep farmers connected with each other and could reduce water use by as much as 15 percent annually.
