Bike for Kids Idaho Presents Bikes to Special Needs Kids

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Bike for Kids Idaho presented five customized bikes to five special needs kids on Monday. Each bike was built for the specific needs of the children chosen. The program began six years ago and works along side with the The Children with Disabilities Foundation. Both organizations are made of up of volunteers from the Idaho Falls area.
Saturday, July 26 is their annual bike race fundraiser. The Bike for Kids Idaho event includes 100, 63, 30, and 15 mile courses, alongside 2 & 4 mile family rides. With the money raised and donated in the past year, the foundation awarded more than 20 children with various adaptable bicycles. For more information on the event, go to bikeforkidsidaho.com.
