(RIGBY, ID) – The body of a missing Idaho Falls man was found along the Snake River Sunday morning. Twenty-one-year-old Mason Empey drowned June 29 on the South Fork near the Lorenzo boat dock. He was found in debris near a canal headgate in Roberts, about 20 miles where was last seen. Investigators say Empey had jumped into the water to retrieve a lost oar during a fishing trip, and was not wearing a life jacket.
