Anheuser-Busch currently owns approximately 250 Clydesdales throughout the United States that are used for promotional and marketing purposes at community & national events throughout the year.
Budweiser Clydesdales Coming to Town
Published at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Watkins Distributing would like to welcome the public to come view the Budweiser Clydesdale team on Saturday July 19th at Snake River Landing. The Clydesdales will begin at 1:00 and parade through the landing & will be available for photos until 3:00.
On April 7, 1933, August A Busch, Jr. and Adolphus Busch III surprised their father, August A. Busch Sr, with the gift of a six-horse Clydesdale hitch to commemorate the repeal of Prohibition, the six-horse hitch shortly increased to the eight-horse hitch that it is today. These horses continue to be an enduring symbol of the brewer’s heritage, tradition and commitment to quality.
