California Man Dies on Grand Teton
Published at(JACKSON, WY) – A hiker was killed in a fall in Grand Teton National Park over the weekend. Officials say the body of 36-year-old Will Cornyn was found near the mouth of Cascade Canyon Tuesday afternoon. Cornyn, of San Francisco, California, left his campsite at Jenny Lake Sunday afternoon on a hike to Lake Solitude, but never returned that evening. Thunderstorms prevented a recovery on Monday. More than 70 searchers worked for six hours to locate Cornyn, who was extricated by helicopter near Inspiration Point at about 4:30 p.m.
