IDAHO FALLS, ID —  Idaho Falls started a seven game homestand off right with a 10-2 rout of Billings Wednesday.  It was quite a show for the 3,000 fans that showed up to Melaleuca Field, making it the third largest crowd of the season.
After falling behind 1-0, Idaho Falls (16-13) rallied in the second inning.  Robert Pehl’s leadoff double started a string of six straight hits for the Chukars.  Brandon Downs ended the streak with his first professional RBI to tie the game.  Downs would drive in two more runs in the fourth.
The Chukars bats provided more fireworks in the seventh inning when Ryan O’Hearn and Wander Franco hit back-to-back home runs, the first time Idaho Falls accomplished that feat this season.  Alec Mills (2-2) got the win for the Graybirds, going five innings and giving up just one run.

The Chukars have won five straight against the Mustangs.  They look to continue that streak Thursday night.
