Chukars Win Third Straight Game

(BILLINGS, MT) — The Chukars have a season high three game winning streak after setting down the Mustangs 4-2 on Wednesday.
Idaho Falls (12-11) moves above .500 for the first time this season. Ryan O’Hearn didn’t waste anytime increasing his hitting streak to 12 with a two-run home run in the first inning.
Billings (11-12) would answer with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first to tie the game.

Idaho Falls would add a run in the fourth and another in the seventh to build a 4-2 lead.  The Chukars bullpen held strong, starting with Emilio Ogando’s two scoreless innings. Sam Lewis pitched the final two innings, recording five of his six outs with a strikeout for his first save of the season.

Idaho Falls and Billings continues their four game series Thursday night.
