ESPN: Rockets Trade Lin to Lakers
Published at(NEW YORK) — The Houston Rockets traded guard Jeremy Lin and a future first-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers Friday, according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
The Rockets will receive cash and rights to an undisclosed overseas player.
According to ESPNDallas.com, the Rockets are also expected to match the Dallas Mavericks three-year, $46 million offer sheet to restricted free agent Chandler Parsons.
Meanwhile, the Lakers receive a 26-year-old Lin, who is in the final year of his contract that will pay him $14.9 million this season.
During his four NBA seasons, Lin has averaged 11.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
