Fire Rekindles Along Blackfoot River

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A small wildfire rekindled along the Blackfoot River in Bingham County Tuesday night. Fire officials say the original 800-acre fire was put out Monday, but it kept smoldering on some inaccessible cliffs in the Presto area. The flames had all but burned out by midnight, but crews will monitor the site today to see if anything else develops. No injuries, evacuations, or structural damage have been reported.
