Horse Hurt in Highway Collision

(LAVA HOT SPRINGS, ID) – A horse was hurt in a collision along U.S. Highway 30 near Lava Hot Springs Tuesday night.
Idaho State Police say someone was riding the horse when it was hit by a car just outside of town shortly before 10 p.m. Neither the driver or the rider were hurt in the accident, but the horse suffered extensive injuries and may have to be put down. The names of those involved have not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
