(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The cities of Idaho Falls and Ammon have agreed to split the costs of a $3.4 million project to renovate Hitt Road. KIDK reports that each city will pay $1.7 million on the project, which includes improving the Sunnyside intersection and widening a half-mile stretch of Hitt Road south of that intersection. Officials hope it will help draw more businesses to the area, especially now that Cabela’s is opening a store off of Hitt Road in Ammon.
