Heavy Vibration roller at asphalt pavement works (road repairing)

(MCCAMMON, ID) – The city of Pocatello is paving parking lots and streets in McCammon, and the project could violate Idaho laws. KPVI reports that in unusual cases, cities will sometimes share the costs of roadwork.

The project was bid by a private contractor at $18,000, but the city of Pocatello outbid them at $4,000. Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad says McCammon will fully repay the city, and that working together helps develop a broader sense of community.
