Lightning Sign Brenden Morrow, Re-Sign Panik
Published at(TAMPA, Fla.) — The Tampa Bay Lightning signed free agent forward Brenden Morrow on Friday to a one-year deal.
Morrow scored 13 goals and 25 points in 71 games with St. Louis last season and will provide great veteran leadership for the team.
The 35-year-old has played in 921 NHL games and has scored 262 goals and 567 points.
The Lightning also re-signed forward Richard Panik to a one-year, two-way contract.
Panik played in 50 games for Tampa Bay last season and had three goals with 13 points and spent time with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey league.
