Man Denies Sex Abuse Charges

(PINGREE, ID) – An eastern Idaho man has pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing a child. Bingham County prosecutors say Jose Sanchez of Pingree also pleaded not guilty to felony lewd conduct with a minor. Sanchez, who has been in custody for nearly a month, remains held on a $1 million bond. The alleged incidents occurred in April of 2006. A jury trial has been scheduled for October 21.
