Marvel to Release Three New “Star Wars” Comic Book Titles

Fox(LOS ANGELES) — Get ready for new Star Wars comic books. Lucasfilm Ltd. and Marvel Entertainment have announced three new comic book titles for the sci-fi franchise, starting in January 2015 with Star Wars by writer Jason Aaron.
Aaron tells Marvel.com, “Every story is about the characters, and we’ll focus on all the old favorites. There will be big moments for everyone, from Han to R2-D2. But a major part of the narrative will be driven by Luke Skywalker and his journey of discovery, a journey that will decide the fate of the entire galaxy.”
In February 2015, the comic Darth Vader will be released, followed by the five-issue limited series Princess Leia in March.
The movie Star Wars — Episode VII opens worldwide on Dec. 18, 2015.
