New Series “Dating Naked” Premieres Thursday Night

VH1(NEW YORK) — The new VH1 series — or should we say “nude” VH1 series — Dating Naked premieres Thursday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time. It’s as exactly as it sounds — the stars of the show will actually go on dates in the buff.
Each week, two people will have three naked dates on an island resort, including one with each other. Afterward, they’ll decide with whom they’d like to pursue a romance back home — presumably, where they can wear clothes again.
Host Amy Paffrath says the nudity on the show will be censored, to a point. She tells ABC News Radio, “There is pixilation and sometimes strategically placed items on a table to kind of block the view of women’s breasts when they’re eating, things like that. But butts are OK because it’s primetime.”
If you tune in to Dating Naked expecting to see only physically fit contestants, you may end up disappointed. Paffrath explains, “That’s a very good representation of what real life is like. You know, some people work out every day and some people have never seen a weight room in their life.”
