BILLINGS, MT —  Solid pitching and Ryan O’Hearn provide a winning formula as Idaho Falls win their fourth straight game with a 3-1 over Billings on Thursday.
Idaho Falls (13-11) starter Alec Mills allowed just two hits and one run in five innings,  retiring 12 Mustangs (11-13) in a row at one point.

The bat of Ryan O’Hearn continues to be smoking hot.  His hit streak reached 13 games after hitting his fifth home run of the season in the fourth inning.

Chukars bullpen picked up where Mills left off.  Cruz Guevara and Jon Fitzsimmons came in and combined to allow just one walk while holding Billings without a hit for the rest of the game.

The Chukars pull into second place in the Pioneer League South with the win and Rockies loss.

Idaho Falls looks for the sweep against Billings Friday night.
