OREM, UT — It didn’t take long for Ryan O’Hearn to set the tone for the evening.  The Chukars first baseman tallied a home run on the first pitch he saw, en route to a three hit, four RBI performance in a 9-7 Chukars win.
O’Hearn’s eighth home run of the season, a two run blast, gave the Chukars (19-17) the early 3-0 lead.  He struck again in the second inning singling in two more runs.  The Greybirds were in control 6-1 after two frames.  Pedro Gonzalez went deep for the second time this season in the fifth inning to push the lead to 9-2.

Zach Lovvorn gave up a grand slam to Andrew Daniel in the sixth, but would stop the Orem rally giving up only two hits the rest of the way picking up his first save.

Idaho Falls continues the road trip Friday, concluding the two game series against Orem.
