(NEW YORK) — It’s no secret that daytime talk show host Wendy Williams made a lot of enemies during her 23-year stint in radio thanks to her no-holds-barred style. R&B singer Olivia, who was on the receiving end of Williams’ stinger, writes in her new book Release Me: My Life, My Words that she still hasn’t forgiven Williams for comments made in 2007 when she was dropped from 50 Cent’s G Unit Records.

“I loathe that woman…like there’s no better word,” Olivia told ABC News Radio recently.

“Because it was so hurtful the things that she said when I left the Unit. Like the things that she pulled from the air to try to make up. [I was] like, ‘Damn, ma. That’s how you feel about another strong black woman?'” Olivia continued.

Olivia said she turned to fellow singer Brandy for help in navigating her relationship with Williams.  Brandy had patched things up with Williams in late 2012 when she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, her hit syndicated daytime talk show, to promote her latest album, Two Eleven. Still, Olivia said she may never appear on her show because she hasn’t learned to forgive her just yet.

“I have been searching to try to release that energy because I know it’s not good for the person who’s holding on to the energy,” Olivia added. “It’s not good for us.”

Release Me: My Life, My Words is in stores now.
