Rob Ford Opens Up About Alcoholism

City of Toronto(TORONTO) — Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is continuing to talk about his problems with addiction, this time sitting down with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and CP24.
Ford, who held a press conference earlier this week but refused to take questions, spoke more at length about how alcohol and drugs affected his performance as mayor, leading to the City Council stripping away most of his powers.
Ford admits that he’s not cured even after spending two months in rehab and knows that his alcoholism is a lifelong disease.
The mayor blames alcohol for fueling his abuse of other drugs, including crack cocaine, mushrooms and marijuana, adding that he would never use the homophobic and racist language he’s been caught spouting on video when he was sober.
