(JACKSON, WY) – Rangers in Grand Teton National Park were involved in four rescue missions Sunday. They included the rescue of a 39-year-old Spanish man who’d become too exhausted to hike out of Granite Canyon, as well as a 27-year-old Jackson woman who’d slipped and injured herself while climbing Disappointment Peak. The woman, who suffered extensive injuries, had to be carried five miles on a litter before an ambulance drove her to a hospital. Updates on both hikers’ conditions have not been released.
