Wildfire Burns 600 Acres in Bannock County

(ARIMO, ID) – A wildfire in south Bannock County has burned more than 600 acres.  The Cambridge Fire, which started shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, is located about seven miles southeast of Arimo. It is believed to have been caused by lightning strikes, and is being fueled by dry grass, sagebrush, and juniper. At least four engines and two aircraft were dispatched to the scene. No structures are currently threatened.
