(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Several regional fires are leaving a smoky haze throughout eastern Idaho. Officials with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality tell Local News 8 that the smoke is coming from smaller fires in central Idaho, and could also be drifting in from larger blazes in Canada and Oregon. Those with respiratory problems like asthma and emphysema are advised to limit their time outside. Those needing to use an inhaler or similar medication more than once every two hours are encouraged to contact their doctors immediately.
