Accused Bank Robber Pleads Not Guilty

(POCATELLO, ID) – A man accused of robbing a Pocatello bank last month has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors say video surveillance shows 60-year-old Ronald Shumaker robbing the US Bank on Yellowstone Avenue.

Schumaker was arrested in Montana two days after the incident. His alleged accomplice, 61-year-old William Reimer, has entered a not guilty plea in connection to a separate bank robbery in Old Town in March.

Both men could spend the rest of their lives behind bars and face $50,000 fines.
