(PRESTON, ID) – Preston Police have identified a man who couldn’t remember his own name.
Authorities say they used fingerprints to identify Thomas McCracken, whose last known residence was in Hailey. The Idaho State Journal reports that McCracken showed up at the Franklin County Medical Center last weekend and appears to be suffering from amnesia.
Doctors are at a loss to explain McCracken’s memory issues, and further tests yielded no drugs or alcohol in his system. The man’s oldest relatives have been notified.
