Flash Flooding Impacts Pocatello, Chubbuck

(POCATELLO, ID) – Flash flooding shut shutdown busy corridors in Pocatello and Chubbuck Tuesday.
The Yellowstone overpass near Staples was reduced to one lane as police blocked off a low-lying section of road because of high water. The flooding was further complicated by ongoing construction, which has left Yellowstone riddled with potholes and other hidden drop-offs.
A flash flood watch remains in effect for much of southeastern Idaho through Thursday evening.
