GETTY 082714 FullHouse? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1409148170129Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — Full House, making a comeback? In the immortal words of Uncle Jesse, “Have mercy!”

A revival of the hit 1987-1995 sitcom may be coming to your TV screen, according to TVGuide.com. John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on Full House and reportedly has an ownership stake in the show, is “leading the charge” on the idea for Warner Bros. Television, according to the site, along with series creator Jeff Franklin and executive producer Bob Boyett.

The proposed revival would feature original cast members Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin — who played Tanner family daughters D.J. and Stephanie — as well as Andrea Barber, who played D.J.’s best friend, Kimmy.

Bob Saget and Dave Coulier — a.k.a. Danny Tanner and Uncle Joey — are also “involved in some way,” according to TVGuide.com.

It’s unclear whether Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of the youngest Tanner daughter, Michelle, will take part in the potential project, which at this point is not official.

Full House is a hit in reruns on Nick at Nite, and the cast remains close. Stamos, Coulier and Saget co-starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Dannon Oikos Greek yogurt earlier this year. In July, Stamos, Saget, Cameron Bure and Barber attended Coulier’s wedding.
