Idaho Falls Man Rescued After Fall

(STANLEY, ID) – An Idaho Falls man had to be rescued after a fall on Mount Heyburn last week.
Authorities say 55-year-old Ronald Wallace likely broke his leg while climbing the rugged central Idaho peak on Thursday. He is believed to have fallen about 10 feet.
Wallace had to spend the night on the mountain before being airlifted out by the Idaho National Guard on Friday morning.
His current condition has not been released.
