J.K. Rowling Publishes New Harry Potter Story About Singing Sorceress
Published at(NEW YORK) — J.K. Rowling is using the Pottermore.com website to keep fans engaged in the Harry Potter universe she created. She’s just posted a new short story to the site featuring a brand-new character.
The character, Celestina Warbeck, is a singing sorceress who’s a favorite of Molly Weasley, Ron Weasley’s mom.
An excerpt from the story reads, “Some of Celestina’s best-known songs include ‘You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me’ and ‘A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love.’ Her fans are usually older people who love her grandstanding style and powerful voice. The late 20th-century album You Stole My Cauldron but You Can’t Have My Heart was a massive global hit.”
Fans who are members of Pottermore — signing up is free — can “unlock” and listen to the title track of Celestina’s album now.
