Justin Bieber’s Miami DUI Hearing Postponed

Miami Dade Corrections Department(MIAMI) — A hearing to determine if Justin Bieber will be tried on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest has been postponed.
Bieber got a reprieve from a Miami-Dade County judge on Tuesday, who pushed the date until 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the request of prosecutors and Bieber’s attorney, according the the Miami Herald.
The 20-year old pop star was arrested on Jan. 23 in Miami Beach after what police described as an illegal drag race against a friend.
A breath test determined the singer’s alcohol level was below the 0.02 limit for underage drivers, but urine tests showed the presence of marijuana and an anti-anxiety drug. He was also was charged with driving on an expired license.
