Man Shot by Stranded Motorist
Published atCALDWELL, Idaho (AP) – Police in southwest Idaho say a 39-year-old man reported being shot by a stranded driver Thursday morning after he stopped to help.
The man reported the shooting north of Caldwell occurred at about 2 a.m. when he stopped to assist a person in a silver truck.
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office says the man has been transported to a hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
His name hasn’t been released.
Police say they’re looking for a suspect.
