IDAHO FALLS, ID — Idaho Falls couldn’t match a Missoula sacrifice fly in the 11th as the Chukars fell short in a 7-6 loss on Sunday.
Idaho Falls (27-25, 7-7) entered the ninth inning with a two run lead, but Nick Green suffered his fourth blown save of the season. Errors helped put the tying run in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth. Stewart Ijames singled in two runs to tie the game.

In the 11th inning Stewart Ijames did the job again, this time with a sacrifice fly to put the Osprey (24-29, 7-8) in front 7-6.

The Chukars were in a position to tie it in the bottom of the 11th. They left the tying run on third base.

Missoula snaps the Idaho Falls four game winning streak. The Chukars were still able to win five in the seven game homestand.

The Chukars will travel to Montana on Monday and beginning at three game series with the Helena Brewers on Tuesday at 7:05pm.
