Pocatello Dems Focusing on Unions
Published at(POCATELLO, ID) – Democrats in Bannock County are hoping to rally the support of labor unions in November.
State Sen. Roy Lacey says Pocatello was built largely by union workers, but support for Democrats has waned since Idaho became a Right to Work state.
Lacey tells Local News 8 that the key to success in Bannock County is to get as many voters to the polls as possible.
Experts say the results could easily go either way in spite of the partisanship dividing the community, with an estimated 20 percent of voters still undecided.
