Power Outage in Pocatello

(POCATELLO, ID) – More than 100 Idaho Power customers in Pocatello lost their electricity Thursday afternoon.
The outage lasted about an hour and a half, and cut off power to homes and businesses in the vicinity of Yellowstone, Griffith, McCormick, and Pershing. It was back on shortly before 4 p.m.
Executives say the outage was likely caused by a failure in a piece of power equipment.
