PRT Station Holds Grand Opening

POCATELLO, ID) – Pocatello Regional Transit hosted a grand opening for their new station south of town Tuesday.
The $6 million facility is located near the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, and will replace the crumbling former transit center. Local News 8 reports that PRT will soon be offering bus passes at outlets like Albertson’s, the Pine Ridge Mall, and Idaho State University.
Residents can also purchase ticket booklets online. Officials hope the new station will boost the safety and reliability of public transit for passengers.
