Shelley Man Arrested for Battery

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A Shelley man was arrested this on a felony charge of attempted strangulation.
Sergio Elizondo is accused of striking a 24-year-old woman in the face and grabbing her neck during a domestic dispute June 1. The incident occurred on the 1200-block of Ashment Avenue, but 20-year-old Elizondo left before police arrived.
He turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Building in Idaho Falls on Tuesday.
