Sinkhole Fixed in Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Idaho Transportation Department has repaired a small sinkhole on a busy Idaho Falls roadway.
Local News 8 reports that the hole was located under three railroad bridges along U.S. Highway 26 downtown. The sinkhole was found Tuesday evening It was 17-feet long, six-feet wide, and more than two-feet deep.
After closing the road, crews poured four yards of cement into the hole to fill it, and the road was reopened by Thursday morning.
