(NEW YORK) — Susan Sarandon’s New York City apartment was broken into late Saturday night and several items were taken.
“No arrests have been made yet but the case is under investigation,” the New York Police Department told Us Weekly about the incident. “No one was home at the time of the crime.”
The NYPD added that Sarandon’s family discovered the downtown Manhattan apartment had been broken into after returning to the home. Some jewelry, a laptop computer and a camera are among the items stolen.
Police say the burglar may have entered the apartment through a terrace door. They’re reviewing video surveillance footage to help in their investigation.
