Teen Girl Eyes Quarterback Position

(POCATELLO, ID) – A Century High School freshman is hoping to break records as her school’s first female quarterback.
Sarah Moloney tells the Idaho State Journal that she tried out for the freshman football team at the behest of her older brothers, who were also high school athletes. Coach Dave Spillet says he’s been impressed with 14-year-old Moloney’s work both on and off the field.
The team plays their first game against Rigby later this week.Spillet hasn’t yet determined who still start at quarterback.
