Traffic Increases for Pocatello Airport

(POCATELLO, ID) – Air traffic at the Pocatello Regional Airport was up 17 percent in July over the same period last year.
Officials tell the Idaho State Journal that airlines are offering competitive rates for flights in and out of the region, and that many are finding it a more affordable alternative than flying out of Idaho Falls or Salt Lake City.
The airport has also increased passenger growth by eight percent over the past two years, compared to only 1.8 percent nationally.
