TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) – A south-central Idaho man police say robbed a bank while in a wheelchair but was captured in the parking lot is in custody.

The Times-News reports that 60-year-old Robert Bower of Twin Falls is being held in the Twin Falls County Jail and is facing a felony robbery charge.

Twin Falls Police Lt. Craig Stotts says Bower handed a teller a note Tuesday afternoon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Stotts says police responded at 1 p.m. and found Bower in the parking lot with a taxi van he took to the bank.

It’s not clear if Bower has an attorney.
