Woman Dies in Crash Near Bone

(BONE, ID) – A woman died in a car accident in rural Bingham County Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say 35-year-old Jorlei Lewis was headed southbound on Bone Road in her SUV when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Lewis lost control of her vehicle and overturned. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four others, including three children, were taken to EIRMC for treatment and have since been released. Authorities say alcohol was a likely factor in the crash.
