(11) Michigan State Dominates Eastern Michigan, 73-14

Streeter Lecka/Getty Images(EAST LANSING, Mich.) — Coming off their first loss of the season last week, the 11th ranked Michigan State Spartans flexed their in-state muscles on Saturday after defeating Eastern Michigan 73-14.
Michigan State did plenty of damage early as they scored four touchdowns in their first five possessions.
Quarterback Connor Cook led the way as he completed five passes out of six attempts for 83 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown in the first quarter.
It was the third-most points the team has scored since 1931.
“Obviously, everyone had a bad taste in their mouths coming back from Eugene,” Cook said. “We wanted to take our anger out on the opponent, whether it was Eastern, Nebraska, Wyoming, whomever. We wanted to come out and make this a statement game and put up some points.”
The Spartans did plenty of damage on the ground too. Running back Delton Williams ran for 103 yards three touchdowns on just 10 carries while Jeremy Langford ran for 60 yards on nine carries while scoring a touchdown of his own.
