“After a 5hr 50min [sic] surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from … best news I’ve received in a long time,” Still said in the post.

Earlier Thursday, Still gave his 4-year-old daughter a pre-surgery pep talk that touched hearts online.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, the football player can be seen inside his vehicle while his daughter sits in the back seat.

Still addresses Leah, saying: “I’m ready for today. You ready for today? You ready to get this cancer up out you?” She smiles and nods after each of his questions.

“Let’s do it! Fist bump,” Still says, bumping fists with the girl.

Still also tweeted: “I might be nervous and scared beyond words but I’ll never let her see.”

Leah underwent surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She was diagnosed in June with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer.

Still’s story captivated the public’s attention earlier this month when it was revealed that he had been cut from the team but then brought back onto the practice squad in order to help pay for his daughter’s cancer treatments.

At the time, Still called the team’s actions “a blessing in disguise.”

“I completely understand where the Bengals were coming from when they cut me because I couldn’t give football 100 percent right now,” he said then in an interview with ABC News.
