The company said in a statement Wednesday affected users could reinstall iOS 8 using iTunes. The problems forced Apple to pull the latest version of its operating software.

“We apologize for the great inconvenience experienced by users, and are working around the clock to prepare iOS 8.0.2 with a fix for the issue, and will release it as soon as it is ready in the next few days,” read the statement.

Since it was released last week, Apple’s iOS 8 has been hailed for its aesthetics but seems to be plagued by bugs for some users.

Slow download speeds, sluggish performance and problems with both Apple’s native keyboard and third-party keyboards were among some of the most common issues noted by users.
